Postponed - possibly being rescheduled: Join me on Friday, February 24th for " Spectacles of Nature: A Photographic Journey" at the North Branch Nature Center’s Naturalist Journeys Slide Show and Lecture Series. Starting at 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Church on Main Street in Montpelier, across from the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, my presentation is a collection of images and stories of the incredible birds, animals and scenery I have witnessed over ten years of nature photography.

Having presented my work in slide shows for a variety of audiences throughout my travels, I offer paid speaking engagements. Perfect for birding groups, camera clubs, nature centers and more! Please contact me about rates and availability. Presentation topics include:

Bird Photography: Different ways to approach our sometimes elusive avian subjects for photography.

Alaska Eagles and Seabirds: Clear examples of the various stages of Bald Eagle plumage plus photos with habitat, interaction, aerial maneuvers, fishing behavior, and more to illustrate the incredible nature of these birds, plus seabird and other wildlife images from St. Paul Island in the Pribilof chain.

South Texas: Texas is an amazing place, with diverse habitats and wildlife. This presentation includes an assortment of images taken from areas in the Lower Rio Grande Valley to High Island on the Gulf Coast. Can also highlight the photographic opportunities there on private lands from photo blinds.

From a presentation for New Hampshire Audubon's Lakes Region Chapter:

"Thanks for bringing such a terrific presentation to NH Audubon's Lakes Region Chapter. Your beautiful pictures were certainly a visual treat for us. The close-up eagle pictures were not only stunning but the detail proved to be very instructive in understanding the plumage patterns of each stage of a young Bald Eagle's life. It was very much appreciated by our group, especially since eagles are making such a strong comeback in the region."

From a presentation at the Carroll Camera Club in Maryland:

"Just let me express the general response of the members of the Carroll Camera Club to Heather's presentation: "WOW", "OUTSTANDING", "WONDERFUL PROGRAM". I have had a flood of e-mails from members, they can't stop talking about those beautiful images and your informative commentary.

Thank you Heather for taking the time to visit our group and presenting such an exciting and inspiring program. You are responsible for a record number of member and guest attendance at any one meeting of the club in it's thirty year history.

Best Wishes from the Carroll Camera Club."
